We help people find what’s missing and discover the unknown, through the smart use of images and data.
Who are we?
A collaboration between Oxford University and an Adelaide based consultancy firm has led to the foundation of a company that is challenging the concept of a visual search platform. However Zegami would never have been founded if it wasn’t for the passion of an aspiring global CEO and amazingly talented computer scientist and dedicated computational biologist looking for answers.
Add to this the basic concept of combining images and data into a simple yet intuitive UI and you have a business and a solution that is generating considerable interest from both the commercial and academic research world.
Samuel Conway is an inspiring global CEO, with a passion for technology that gives commercial organisations, researchers and academics the ability to gain insight into their visual data in a way they never thought possible. Samuel holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering (BSc BEng) and a MBA (Int Business).
After a successful project with Oxford University, Zegami Limited was founded in February 2016 with Sam appointed as the CEO.
Roger Noble is a Software Developer and Data Visualisation expert with a passion for building new and innovative technologies that help people see the world in a new way. Roger holds an Honours Degree in Computing and Multimedia,
As a Business Intelligence Consultant he developed the HTML5 PivotViewer – an open source data visualisation tool and the precursor to Zegami.
As CTO for Zegami, Roger spearheads the continued development of the platform and is in demand with local and international technical communities where he presents on data visualisation to a global audience.
Stephen is the Head of the Computational Biology Research Group for the Weatherall Institute at Oxford University and Chief Scientific Officer for Zegami.
Stephen did his B.Sc. in Microbiology and holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science. He started using PivotViewer in 2010 to visualise large genomics datasets and microscopy data. To overcome its limitations he worked with Roger Noble to develop and publish HTML5 PivotViewer.
As the CSO, Stephen works closely with Roger and Sam to develop Zegami into a revolutionary visualization and analytical platform that is useful to any organisation trying to make sense of their data.
